GC Cell awarded “Professional Development Program for Career-Interrupted Women” by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family

GC Cell was recognized as a “Best Women-Friendly Management” company by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family in a 2018 workshop for the career-interrupted women’s re-employment development program, which took place on February 8.

The “Best Women-Friendly Management” award is given to companies that implement specific policies that encourage career-interrupted re-employment of women, and form a woman-friendly enterprise environment.

Meantime, GC Cell signed a women-friendly company agreement with the Seoul Job Center for Women in Science and Technology, with the aim of spreading a women-friendly corporate culture, and securing the specialists that it needs.

Last August, the company participated in the “Molecular diagnostics specialist training program for the pharmaceutical and bio industry” as a field trip company, and hired new employees.

In the years to come, GC Cell will strive to create new jobs and actively hire women employees, thus upholding its social responsibilities, and spreading a fair enterprise culture.
