2017-10-23

Green Cross Cell signed an agreement with Seoul Job Center for Women In Science and Technology on ‘Women-friendly Company’.

Since August 2014, with support from the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, Ministry of Employment and Labor, and Seoul Metropolitan Government, the Seoul Job Center for Women in Science and Technology (Choi moonyoung, Center head) installed and is operating a Center for Women in Science, Engineering and Technology (WISET) in order to help the employment of women in Science and Engineering, who are un-employed or career-interrupted.

In particular, the Seoul Job Center for Women in Science and Technology is an institution for fostering talented women in science and technology, intensively operating ‘quality control specialist training program’ and ‘molecular diagnostics specialist training program’, supporting employment in the pharmaceutical and bio industry.

Last August, Green Cross Cell participated in the ‘molecular diagnostics specialist training program for the pharmaceutical and bio industry’ as a field trip company and hired three employees. Closely working with Seoul Job Center for Women in Science and Technology, Green Cross Cell signed a ‘Women-friendly Company’ agreement to spread a women-friendly corporate culture and to receive support in hiring the specialists that it needs.

With the agreement, Green Cross Cell will exert an effort to actively hire women employees, in order to support them in becoming core talents of the company and to achieve gender equality in employment.
